Max Wexler, a famous designer of many distinguished golf courses in the Asia Pacific region, designed the par-72 course. The neatly manicured course blends with the terrain thus preserving the natural landscape and tropical foliage.
Despite its excellent condition, the course perforce has been undergoing extensive remodeling and upgrading works since early 2007. The remodeled course is truly picturesque.
Remodelling and upgrading of the Course was overseen by none other than the internationally renowned designer Ronald Fream. The new 9 Holes, which is also the back nine, features some lovely holes adjacent to the Tebrau River and is fully floodlit for night golfing.
The new 9 are challenging, set in undulation terrain with strategically positioned daunting bunkers and testing greens. Enhancing esthetic value are several water features which demand thought from golfers before addressing their shots, especially under breezy conditions. In essence, what we do have is a Championship Course with lots of character.
